Seeing all these speculative evolution world project made me want to attempt my own. There are several continents on this planet, Calmuron, Massul, The Trocese Islands, Chratte, Terioma, Ayrianna, Halvonma, North Sheimal and South Sheimal, as well as  few oceans, The Trocese Sea, The Vast Hub, The Sea of Eden and The Great Rift. here is just a few of the groups the live on Hermes-6. I'm not the best at Binomial Nomenclature so if I used a word such as formes or brachids wrong, just inform me in the comments and i'll have it fixed.

Arboridactyls: Small, tree-faring vertebrates that live on the Trocese Islands and Massul. They spend most of their lives going from tree to tree, sucking a sap-like substance from the plants. They rest of their lives are spent searching for a mate and partaking in coitis with that mate. Once the female lays her eggs she will die, and the male will follow. That is, except for one species on massul, known as the coiters(Fornicatiodiutinus Brothus) which spend half their lives eating and the rest partaking in great orgy balls called brothels, spreading their seed to as many females they can get their member into. They are also one of the few animals on Hermes-6 that take pleasure in coitis, something only animals like humans and dolphins do for fun.

Astrapiformes: Large Quadropedal Vertebrtes that live on Calmuron and Terioma, though their are two smaller species that live ayrianna. They have special organs in their tail that produce an electric charge. It is unknown if they produce the charge on command or if the body does it autimatically when the creature feels threatened. When charged, their usually transparent tails will glow a bright blue and becomes capable of dealing fatal blows. On species from Terioma, The Blitz Tail (Tonitrufirmus Diplodocus) has the longest tail at 20 meters or around 66 feet.

Fulmenformes: Toad-sized, herbivorous vertebrtes that live in Chratte and Halvonma. They are hexapedal and have a unique organ that allows them to shoot special darts made of excess marrow and a smaller organ that produces sperm arrows, which is exclusive to males. One note worthy species is the Ballista (Gigantarcum Bastiun) which is not only the biggest fulmen species, being the size of a german sheperd, but also referencing bastion from Overwatch.

Pseudovaldobrachids: Relatives of the valdoformes, Pseudovaldoformes are similar to valdoformes in appearance, except for their claws, which are much more like axes and sickles rather than swords. They live on Massul and the Trocese Islands. They also tend to walk on all fours, rather than on their two hind legs. A perfect example of the Psuedovaldobrachids would be a member from Massul called Concavungula Admordeo, or as its commonly called, the Shotel which uses its hook-like claws to tear at and lacerate flesh.

Valdobrachids: Bipedal Vertebrates with two arms with a single, large claw that's as sharp as a blade. They stand up almost upright with a slight hunch, so they can reach prey more easily. They live on Calmuron and Massul and live on a carnivorous diet. One species from Calmuron is called falcadactylus Chromi that is recognizable by its falchion-like claw. The chromi in its name is a reference to the character chrom from Fire Emblem who weilds a sword called falchion (though it shares nothing with its real-life counterpart). Other members of the group share the similar trait of having their species name being a reference to fictional characters, such as falcadactylus Maurthus which is a reference to marth from fire emblem, The Uchigatana (Lepidabrachus Gienji) which references Genji from Overwatch and the Shinken (Sabremimus Ryukka) which is a reference to Ryuko from kill la kill.
This was originally going to be snaiad fan ideas but as time went on it became my own little world, and this isn't even close to the tip of the iceburg for what I have in store for Hermes-6. I'll explain more about the planet as time goes on, but for now I'll leave you with the names of some of the groups to come.

Cthulhiformes
Gravibrachids
